London Cartoon Gallery – discontinued
The London Cartoon Gallery is a virtual gallery representing Britain’s finest contemporary political and editorial, strip and gag cartoonists from the broadsheets, the tabloids and many magazines.
The gallery was founded by the cartoonist Mel Calman in 1970. Its original premises were in Bloomsbury in London where The Workshop, as it used to called, provided a showcase for the work of Calman and many of his colleagues. Having been run by a number of people since, the most recent owner was the comics store Gosh!. At a threat of being shut down, I took on the gallery in 2004 and built its current incarnation available online.

Dugnad.eu
Dugnad is an informational co-operative; a project that aims to further knowledge about various issues, to encourage more informed debates, and to improve our collective voice. The word ‘dugnad’ (norr dugnaðr ‘hjelp’) means, roughly, co-operative and unpaid work for the community or individuals. It was named the national word of the year in Norway in 2004. The current dugnad is on the Data Retention Directive (DIRECTIVE 2006/24/EC).
